istigarah for umrah

is there such thing as doing 'istigarah' for performing Umrah?if not then why, as this isn't fardh upon a muslim.if you don't mind could you please email me the answer asap.

One does not need to make Istikhaarah for any Sunnah and Nafl deed/action. These are generally done without Istikhaarah. However, one may make Istikhaarah and make Mashwarah with one's seniors as to whether one should make it now or later or do something else more virtuous and important like service to the parents etc.
