The full extent of how much a woman must cover as part of her Hijaab is mentioned in the verse of Qur'an in which Allah orders for women to release their 'Khimaar' over their Bosom. This can only be observed if the garment is released from over the head. For this reason, bearing in mind the implications of the word 'Khimaar' it will be concluded that a woman must cover from head to toe, only allowing her eyes, hands (not wrists) and feet (not ankles) to be revealed.
