Answered by Mufti Umar Farooq Sahib:

Say "taqabbalallahu minna wa mink" (translation: Allah except [all good deeds] from us and from you. Imam baihaqi rahmatullahi alaihi in his "sunanul kubra" wrote a chapter (translation: chapter on what has been narrated on the saying of the people to each other on eid day, "taqabbalallahu minna wamink". In this chapter he narrated numerous narrations relating to this but in all of them, there is in the least a bit of question. But according to the saying of allamah mardini rahmatullahi alaihi there is a narration by Muhammad ibne ziyad, which imam baihaqi rahmatullahi alaihi missed. The chain of narrators of this narration, Imam Ahmad Ibne Hambal rahmatullahi alaihi classified it as "jayyad" (good). Muhammad ibne ziyad says that "I was with Hazrat Abu Umamah Bahili etc companions of the Prophet Radhiyallahu anhum. When they used to (after praying their Eid salah) return, they used to say to one another, "taqabbalallahu minna wa mink".
